Microcamper Conversions

A microcamper van conversion provides an excellent compromise between the size of a fully equipped motorhome and the convenience of being able to travel economically with essential facilities in a vehicle the size of a large car.

These are true stealth vans fitted with a balance of beautiful natural materials and a complete suite of campervan features and technology to equip you for weekend camping, city breaks or life on the road.

PROCESS

The conversion starts with your panel van – sometimes referred to as a ‘donor vehicle’. This van will be converted from its raw state into a fully functioning microcamper, with all electrical and gas systems signed off by certified professionals.

Depending on the specification, a full conversion will usually take between 6 – 8 weeks. While I outsource certain installations to specialist partner workshops, such as pop-top roofs and windows, I am just as happy for you to source these directly and commission me for the interior cabinetry.

FEATURES

A micro campervan allows you to drive in low-emission zones, slip by under the radar of height restricted coastal parking, and the discreet exterior means you can camp overnight in most locations without drawing attention. With a 12v power system, you can still travel with an electric cooler box, full lighting, USB charging sockets and an inverter to supply you with 240v mains wherever the road takes you.

The interior is handcrafted from natural timber – a design that has evolved to optimise these materials for a light weight and versatile living space. Incredibly slim profiles of solid wood are held together in such a way that prevents warping and will withstand the elemental changes that they will be subjected to in the changing seasons. I handpick every piece to select grains for both their aesthetic qualities and structural integrity.

The central bench unit (providing seating, table storage and extending to a full 195cm bed) can be removed completely with 4 bolts if required. Depending on your specification, the side units can be made to any size to fit a wider seating and bed area.

The bed is designed to be used with a Megamat 10 LXW inflatable mattress with memory foam core, which rolls up and stows away within the bench.
