INTERIOR FEATURES
Bird Box House combines traditional craftsmanship with technical design to create robust camper conversions capable of withstanding all elements.
The interior joinery – from teak-decked floor to ash cabinetry – has been designed with both style and function in mind. The seat cushions and blinds are made from marine-grade upholstery canvas.
Bedding: The L-shaped seating area quickly transforms into a double bed measuring 140 x 190cm (4ft 6 x 6ft).
Kitchen: A front-facing kitchen with overhead roof light, which includes a sink with cold tap and a two-burner gas hob with whistling kettle. The top-loading 43 litre fridge is both efficient and spacious, and can be switched to freezer mode if required.
Water and sanitation: An external cold water shower hose connects to the outside of the van for use as an external shower. A portable cassette toilet is mounted in its own heavy duty drawer.

110ah lithium leisure battery powered by a 175 watt solar panel with a smart Victron charging system, including an electric hook-up point for mains power. In addition to USB charging points, when off-grid a Victron Multiplus smart charger/inverter automatically converts 12v – 240v to power the mains sockets.
While these Victron components can be monitored on your smartphone with Victron Connect, the whole system can as easily be left alone to its own devices.
